The Great Escape!

We.

Are.

Home!!

Oncology are finished with us, HRH has no life threatening illness and he has begun to recover under his own steam. We still don't know what is/was wrong or what is causing the abnormal tissue in his bones, but the urgency of finding out is gone. He is in great form and has great movement in his legs. Yes, it will be a while before he walks again, but he has very little pain and for now that is the most important thing. We will continue to attend the hospital on an outpatient basis and get to the bottom of the mystery.......eventually!!

So, life returns to normal (ish), it is taking a while to adjust to being back home. It feels good though!!

I am so sorry to read that HRH has been unwell and that there has been ambiguity around a diagnosis....importantly right now it is wonderful to hear that he is doing better and you are all back at home.

I clicked on your blog just to leave a comment to tell you I think about you every day and was greeted with this wonderful news. I am absolutely delighted for you all, most importantly that HRH is FEELING better. What a traumatic time you have had, especially going through days of thinking he had a life threatening illness. I do hope somebody is looking after you too xxxxxxxxx
